The twins 'dropped' Camiel on their way. Ugh, they were such pricks!!! The prince could hear a muffled "Stop!" from ahead. Apparently the Gate search wasn't going too well? At least Vivi stopped screaming...for now.

The big wolf was growling at Eve, but made no move to attack him until Eve got closer. It lunged itself forward at him, drooling and staring at the man with furious eyes. It didn't look like he was anywhere close to calming down, but it's attacks seemed reluctant, like it was trying to hurt, but not kill Eve.

Yen squinted, his eyes scanning the forest. His brother mimicked his actions, the both of them looking serious and being quiet, for once. Then out of nowhere, Yen's straight face changed into a grin. "Yun..." Yun, who had also started to grin nodded at his brother and they both clicked together the pendants of their necklaces, forming a diamond shape. Their outer arms lifted up and pointed towards the same direction as their eyes started to light up. They mumbled something in a strange language, completely in sync, and slowly a bright yellow gate started to form in front of them.

"Found it." Yen said smugly.

Saïd nodded at Mauli and looked at eve one last time. Sure he'd be able to handle this...right? Right. Of course he could. "Let's go." He said to Mauli, before taking off in the direction she pointed..or well, looked at.

"Allright buddy...we're going to solve this somehow.", Eve said softly, not sure if he was talking to himself or talking to Kai. For now all he had to do was dodging the wolf's attacks. Maybe he could slap some sense in him, but that's it.

Vivi couldn't even ask something. Her anxiety just took over completely. Great. Just great. She had no idea what to do, so simply staring at the two snake men must be the best option, right?

Mauli ran with average speed, probably having the feeling that Eve's possible future corpse won't bother her at all. She could feel blood from a distance. It didn't feel happy at all...

Soon she almost ran over Camiel, who was, for some reason, also running in the forest. She didn't even bother to say anything, she just continued the running aka the 'hunt'.

Saïd wasn't out of shape, and in his years of thieving and running away from guards he's built up quite the running abilities, so he was able to keep up with Mauli. He did, however, almost trip over his own feet when he noticed Camiel. "Camiel?! What are you doing here?!" He asked him in between soft pants.

The twins both took of their necklaces, pendants still locked together. The gold, diamond shape suddenly began to glow, the bright light illuminating the dark forest. When the light finally became less bright, it became clear that the pendants had transformed into something else: a bright gold sword. Yun made his way over to the princess and handed the sword to Vivi. "Here. This is what you'll use to destroy the gate." Yen followed shortly after his brother, continuing their explanation to the poor girl." Don't worry, the sword was made to destroy it, and it will. All you have to do is run through it and slash." Yun turned to Pan, raising an eyebrow. "Shouldn't we wait for the others to get here first though? I mean, as soon as she runs through it..." Yen took over, continuing Yun's sentence. "...The gate will be destroyed, and she won't be able to return until we reach the next gate, right?"

Pan nodded. "That's how it goes, yes." She turns to Vivi with a concerned look on her face. "What do you want to do? I'm sure with our help you'll be able to handle yourself in our world 'till we've escorted you to the next gate but...I'm not sure. I've never met the cancer gatekeeper..." She puts a hand on the princess' shoulder, smiling sympathetically. "It's up to you, we can wait for the others to join us through the gate...but they won't have much time. I could go get them."

Mauli didn't stop running.

"They just left me here!", Camiel replied angrily. He quickly started a sprint too, even if he wasn't that fast as Mauli. "I don't know where they are now, but maybe Miss 'Hello Camiel nice to see you too sorry I almost ran you over' knows!!" He probably sounded like an angry spoiled kid right now, but at some point he didn't care anymore. He had no clue what to do anyway.

Vivi gasped in surprise. What? She had to hold a sword!? She had to destroy an actual thing with hit! "C-c-c-c-c-can't we talk this over??? W-wait a little longer?" Even Camiel would be able to do this. Not she. Wait. She was shit talking both him and herself now. That's rude. Egh. What isn't rude? What is life? She wanted to run away so badly right now. The only thing that calmed her down a little bit were Pan's nice words and her hand on her shoulder.

"Oh goddamnit." Saïd mumbled under his breath. Couldn't those morons do anything?! Now they were all gonna get split up and they could kiss the destroying of the gates goodbye. Saïd let that sink in for a moment as they ran, and you know what? So be it. Screw the gates, those magical creatures could find someone else to take over for now, he was done with this stupid quest. He went from a failed attempt at breaking in at the royal palace to getting caught up in magical bullshit and curses and WORST of all.....feelings. His gaze darted back to the running prince and he immediately worried if he would be able to keep up, if he was hurt- yeah see. Feelings, exactly what he was talking about just now. "This would be a lot easier if we had fucking horses." He grumbled, a little out of breath.

The twins looked at Pan and Vivi and started hissing. "Whatever just do it!!" They yelled in unison, clearly a lot less patient than Pan.
The feathered girl took a deep breath and her clawed hand dropped from Vivi's shoulder down to her hands which were holding the sword. "Your highness...Vivi, give the sword to me. I'll do it." She said it quietly, but the twins still heard her and immediately protested.
"What are you talking about?" "Yeah Pan, what?! You can't do it! It has to be her, she's a Gemini!" "Any human with a different zodiac who tries to destroy the gate-" "-will be pulverized! Boom dead!" "gone forever"
"I know that!" Pan argued. "But I'm no regular human! You guys can't do it because it's your own gate, but maybe I can. I...I'm not even sure if I still am a gatekeeper now that my own gate is destroyed, but I'm still more powerful than a normal human, I can try!" She turned to Vivi with a small smile. "It's our only choice, unless we wanna trap this girl in our world on her own until the next gate is destroyed...I don't want to do that to her."

The little prince was feeling fed up with all of this. "Oh fuck me. Fuck me for never working out. Oh god, my lazy ass.", he wheezed, not caring what the others would think of his 'nice positive words'. He just wanted the running to be over already, but he also didn't want to fall behind, so he did his best to keep close to Said. Following him would be the best, right?

For the first time in her life Vivi felt an important thing: responsibility. Normally she didn't have to think twice about it, because she ran away from literally anything. She can still hear her mother ask her to grab the towel, but in the end she never did it, because she was too lazy. Or some scary butler just kept staring at her. God, interacting with people was so hard...Why couldn't everyone just...leave her alone?

She'd loved to do the same, to repeat her actions, but this time that was hardly possible. She wanted to say something, but then heard wild noises.

A huge wolf appeared, with a person riding it. It wasn't a wolf she had seen before; this one was even bigger and weirder than the others from just now! Fear filled her body, which made it impossible to move or talk.
The person and the wolf ran towards her, grabbed her and ran towards the gate. Oh God oh god ohg ogd oh godd. Vivi grabbed her sword tightly, pointing it towards the gate. She had no clue if the person was helping her or not, but she was probably going to die anyway. Maybe she could destroy the gate in the meantime? No! Impossible!

She decided to just yell as loud as she could, which turned into high shrieking.

Saïd heard Camiel's cursing and slowed to run up next to him. He reached out and grabbed the prince by the wrist, pulling him along. "Just focus on running, not on anything else. Just keep running." He looked fine on the outside, but once he spoke, his voice came out breathy and quiet. Man he was out of shape. As he turned back to look at the girl they were following, a huge wolf jumped out in front of them. "oh COME ON!" Saïd groaned and tried to avoid the beast, but it just jumped in front of them again, growlign and bearing it's teeth. "Really? Really you wanna do this now?!" He pulled out both of his swords and told the prince to stand back. Saïd was getting REALLY TIRED OF THESE WOLVES, not to mention they were getting behind now, at this rate theyd just lose the girl and get lost on their own! Stupid wolf.

Pan gasped and tried to reach for Vivi, but she was too late. "Princess!!" She ran after the wolf rider, trying her best to catch up. What where they gonna do?!

Meanwhile the twins got knocked over by the giant beast approaching their gate. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" they yelled in unison, eyes wide as they stared at the scene. What the fuck.

The speed went up thanks to Said's help. But boy, he sure went fast...

It didn't last long, thanks to these 'friendly' wolves. Camiel hated the running, but he hated to fight these animals even more! Why couldn't they be gross monsters or something? Hurting animals is never fun. Now that he thought of it......These wolves look....like someone has them under control afterall. It might be the moon, but....

Camiel quickly grabbed his sword and went into defence. Defending might be the best for now. "I don't think...we're able to follow Mauli now...So let's just try to uh...." A wolf sprinted towards them. "...SURVIVE??? SHIT!"

Mauli knew that the men were falling behind, but honestly; that might have been for the best. She could feel a great amound of power a few kilometers from her. Something was probably happening to the gate...
She mainly ignored wolves on her way, but some had to do with a strong kick & jump.

She heard screaming. What was going on?

Before she knew it, the world dissappeared. She felt strong arms around her. Her sword hit something and it seemed like she broke everything around her.

Little did she know that the gate was destroyed and she teleported to another world. The color of the moon changed a little, which might be able to calm some wolves.

"IM GONNA MAKE IT!!" Pan ran towards the gate at a high speed and in a last desperate attempt to catch up with Vivi and the mysterious wolfrider, she jumped. Her wings made an impressive swish through the air, causing the snake twins to topple over as she reached the gate. "aAAAAA IM NOT GONNA MAKE IT IM NOT GONNA MAKE IT SHIT SHIT SHI-"

Suddenly, her voice faded out. The gate crashed to pieces right behind her as she made it through right on time. Everything flashed white before her eyes, a deafening shrieking noise pierced her ears as she moved through the already crumbling down gateway. This was a bad idea. Somehow the bird girl made it to the other side of the gate. She stepped forward calling out for the person she chased after "Vivi?!" But all the distorted magic from the broken gate hadn't done her any good. Pan fainted nearly right after she called out, collapsing on the ground. Welp.

Saïd nodded as he readied his swords, taking on a defensive stand. "Sounds like a plan." He muttered, waiting for the wolf to get close enough. It ran at them, growling and bearing it's teeth, ready to attack any moment. Saïd waited to strike. Just a little closer...Just a little closer...almost there.....Wait what? The wolf suddenly stopped dead in it's tracks, shaking it's head. The other wolves stopped growling too, and started to show the same strange behaviour.
They almost seemed...confused? They looked around, looked at the two guys and started growling again. But instead of attacking, they slowly stepped back, retreating into the woods until they turned around and sprinted away into the darkness together.

"....What the fuck was that?" Saïd looked at Camiel with a raised eyebrow. What the fuck?

Camiel had the feeling something was going wrong. Even though the wolves stopped attacking, he knew something, or rather someone, was suffering by it's consequences right now.

The guy let himself drop to his knees though, tiny sweatdrops dancing on his face. "Woah....allright. I guess we uh...are kind of safe now." He wondered how the others were doing. Did Vivi destroy the gate? Would she still be here? Is Kai doing fine or is he dying? Anxiety filled his body as he velt the urge to throw up. "Ugh."

Saïd kept looking around for a moment, making sure they really WERE safe. The forest had gone quiet again, soft light from the stars and moon reflecting on trees and bushes in the otherwise dark environment. It was strangely peaceful, after all they'd just gone through. The same questions plagued Saïd's mind. What was the situation out there? Did they manage to destroy the gate? And if so where was the princess now? Had the werewolf kid been neutralized, dead or alive?

Camiel's sigh brought him back to attention. He looked down at the other and lowered himself, kneeling in front of him. "Are you alright?" He said with a worried voice. All the turmoil between them back at the Palace seemed so distant and silly now, even though the awkwardness between them still lingered.
